The bottom line, the short-term trend is up, I hold partial long position overnight.
For a strong up day like today (not as strong as I imaged though), generally I don’t expect it to fail right away, especially seasonality wise, tomorrow, the last day of the Santa Rally, Dow was up 12 of last 17. Certainly, I don’t expect a huge up day tomorrow as well, because TICK closed above 1,000 which at least doesn’t support a 1%+ up day tomorrow if not red.
Demo account for short-term model, $200 max loss allowed per trade. Mechanical trading signal, for fun only.
